Friday Poetry: "To Hell with Prince Charming"

'Ello everybody! There's good news and bad news. Bad news: I've got a fever/cold/infection thingie. Probably from lack of sleep. So yeah, not feeling to great at the moment. :P Good news: I started writing something I really, really like! I've only written about a page so far, but I can see it developing into a side project along with FH. Definitely not as intensive - I really don't think I could handle both - but just something for motivation when I'm not really feeling the FH vibes, you know? The working title is A Rhapsody in Roses - will let you guys know if I decide to continue in the next couple days or ditch it.

Today's poem originally started out as a haiku, but I wasn't doing so great confined to a certain number of syllables per line, so I decided to just turn into a three-line poem instead. As you guys know, I tend to incorporate a lot of fantasy elements into my songs/poems, but this one has a bit of a different message than usual! ;)

Have a great weekend, everyone; will talk to you on Monday. :)

love, Topaz
