Hello friends! My fever is gone (yet again) - hopefully it stays away this time, yes? For today's Friday Poetry, I wrote a poem from the perspective of Lark, the protagonist in A Rhapsody in Roses; for those of you who don't remember, she can, as she puts it, "hear music of the soul". Although I do love the idea of that story, I think at this point it will remain a short story. I know I mentioned that I was toying with the idea of extending it, but for now I'm scrapping that. So, as a bit of a goodbye to A Rhapsody in Roses, here is a haiku (5-7-5 syllable poem) detailing Lark's views on happiness.
