And autumn peeks her lovely head around the corner at last. I think it is no secret that this is one of my favourite seasons. (After winter, of course -- but I'm sure you could tell that by my last name. ;)) Here in Singapore we unfortunately do not have much cold weather to speak of, but I think the advent of autumn is something to celebrate regardless -- even if we are drinking cold rather than hot chocolate, and even if sweaters and blankets are not entirely practical.
And this mix marks the end of our seasonal playlist collection -- which, on one hand, is rather bittersweet, but on the other, I am sort of delighted to be able to finally play these mixes in order. Here they are, if you are interested in a seasonal marathon: The Sun is Coming Through (spring), Wind in the Shadows (summer), Sweet Humbling Heights (autumn), and Far Below These Birds (winter).
And so, without further ado: a mix for pumpkins and scarves, for pink noses and frosted laughter, for all of the windy loveliness of autumn.

This is a mix for an autumn that is as bleak as it is beautiful, as sorrowful as it is sweet. These songs are for too-long sweaters and serenading teapots, for storms skittering across the roof and wind kissing your strawberry lips. Listen to them as trees weep their burnished leaves, as dandelions sing forlornly across the soft skies, as summer and winter play tug-of-war with only one ending. Autumn is here with her shivering fog, and she is ready to kiss the world good night.
