Happy October, dear friends! There is much happening this month—I am travelling to Delhi to visit family; Season I of Half Mystic Radio continues with many more gorgeous poets & musicians; I have a new short story in Corvid Queen called “The Year We Fell In Love & the Forest Happened Around It”, a retelling of the Sleeping Beauty myth featuring open wounds & gay princesses & blooming trees; & there’s a feature in Sundog Lit of a poem you’ve seen before, “War Story With My Father” (originally featured as the winner of the Ellis Awards). All beautiful things, & I can’t wait to share them with you. Do keep an eye on the blog for all the news.
But first: music! October’s mix contains a few Halloween-ready songs (“Midnight Moon”, “I Miss You”, “Rumour Has It”) as well as a smattering of new favourites (“Reckless Lover”, “Animal”, “Rise Up Wise Up Eyes Up”) & older songs (“Just the Way You Are”, “On My Way”, “Autumn Leaves”). You can have a listen below. I hope your autumn is going gorgeously so far. Goodness knows you deserve it. xo
